(AP Photo/Ahn Young-joon)The for Spider-Man: Far From Home seemingly follows in the footsteps of the spectacular Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (in my estimation, one of the greatest superhero films ever made).I’m going to assume the introduction of the multiverse isn’t one of Mysterio’s many deceptions (that would be a very bad move on Marvel’s part, all over again). But rather than a cheap plot twist, it seems to be a natural expansion of the mythology of these increasingly ambitious films.Now that the arcs of Thanos, Iron Man and Captain America have ended, it’s interesting to note that Marvel isn’t just fracturing the MCU into a multiverse, but heading into the deepest depths of space with Captain Marvel, whose ambitions and skill set are much bigger than Earth.
