Solo Divinity Original Sin 2
In early version, there is enchanter, can indefinitely frozen or stun almost anything except the voidworm. In the latest update I’m not sure if it’s still working. And necromancy + polymorph seems another good build for solo, decaying touch + blood rain + blood suck/ first aid + skin graft could one shot bosses and other polymorph spells can help you hide away, kite/CC enemies, this build requires a lot of patience though, because you need to strip physical armor, and if there are too many enemies on the field, you need to use chameleon cloak then sneak to waiting for cooldowns. I'm not sure if this helps, but something that's really helped me out is geomancy. Oil placement actually forces the AI to either try to find a way around it, stand there like a knucklehead, or on the off chance run straight through. The game got a lot easier when I started placing oil slicks at choke points. Then I'd use the teleport gloves to isolate squishier enemies and kill them while the others try to muck about with the oil.I don't have any official builds. I primarily play a shapeshifter.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 builds are key to a succesful adventure, and thankfully the game's character system is one of the most versatile out there. It allows for a huge amount of creativity. Far cry 1 save game. For Divinity: Original Sin II on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Solo playthroughs more difficult in Definitive Edition?'
I added a little bit of geomancy and the game got a lot easier. So far I've only found a rogue and crossbow build to be able to reliably solo enemy grouos, but show me what you got!Can you detail your build?
Divinity Original Sin 2 Solo Build
I'm looking for the same thing. I really want to be able to solo the game and don't really want to escort 3 other people lol.Starting class, attributes, did you custom anything, etc. I just did a solo Lonewolf Tactician playthrough. My character was Lohse, for the story, a custom Human would be better for dome of protection though.Build:Primary - HydrosophistSecondary - ScoundrelSupporting - Aero/Geo/Poly/Warfare/NecroThe supporting skills I took just as much as I needed to get the skills.
Aero for the teleport and controls, Geo for fortify effects, Poly for mobility, armoring, chameleon cloak etc, Warfare for Shield throw, and the two lvl 1 knockdowns, necro for decaying touch. My Attributes were Wits/Int I felt like going first even on boss fights was critical to getting set up. Put enough in Con/Str to use heavy armor and shields even if I got debuffed. Use the quests that let you sac a stat for another one to dump finesse for literally any stat.Talents - Lonewolf, Savage Sortilege, Elemental Affinity (Put Ice EVERYWHERE), those are the three most important talents. There are plenty of other talents that are nice to have, my personal favorite being Executioner. Pet pal is also nice to have, as is Hothead and many others.Started with Warfare and Poly but it really doesn't matter what you start with imo as long as you choose good skills.Starting class doesn't matter cause I completely customize anyway. You have plenty of access to physical and magic damage as well as physical and magic based cc so swap up your skill book whenever you feel like it. You don't hit as hard as a pure build but the crit and crit scaling from scoundrel make it viable enough and you have so much utility that you can control the flow of fights. So many undead enemies in the game that Hydro simply obliterates from existence.
And truth be told there were only a handful of fights that even gave me pause, (immune to decay AND ice). There were no bosses like that though so it was easy enough to flee adjust my spellbook to do Air/Earth and come right back. Divinity Original Sin 2 Character Guide
Some fights took quite a bit, and some had to be circled back around to because even a enemy that is much stronger than you is waaaay easier to kill than 4-6 enemies around your level most of the time.
